The Revvity EnLite Neonatal TREC kit, 1 x 384 reactions is an in vitro diagnostic product used with the VICTOR^™ EnLite^™ instrument for the semi-quantitative determination of TREC (T-cell receptor excision circle) DNA in blood specimens dried on filter paper.

The NeoBase MSMS kit is intended for the quantitative determination of up to 11 clinically significant amino acids and 31 clinically significant acylcarnitines, detecting more than 30 different metabolic diseases from a single dried blood spot sample using a MSMS tandem mass spectrometer.

Congenital hypothyroidism (CH) results from a failure of the thyroid glands to produce thyroid hormones in adequate amounts. The condition can easily be treated with daily doses of thyroid hormones but clinical diagnosis is difficult to establish and the disease may continue unrecognized for a long time causing irreversible brain damage. This kit is intended for the quantitative determination of human thyroid stimulating hormone (hTSH) in blood specimens dried on filter paper as an aid in screening newborns for congenital (neonatal) hypothyroidism using the GSP® instrument.
