The chemagic^™ Viral DNA/RNA 300 Kit H96 can be used for automated viral nucleic acid purification from plasma and serum, but also for different kinds of respiratory swabs and samples on the chemagic 360 instrument equipped with the chemagic 96 Rod Head. Plasma, serum, saliva and transport media from naso- or oropharyngeal swabs can be used directly in aliquots of 300 μl per isolation. Sample material from dried swabs, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and sputum has to be liquefied before use.
