ADAMTS13 is a biomarker of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), a rare disease that can be controlled by plasma exchange which is supposed to supply ADAMTS13 to patients and/or to remove neutralizing autoantibodies against ADAMTS13.
VICTOR Nivo was used to measure the activity of the enzyme ADAMTS13 in plasma samples, using the commercial substrate “FRETS-VWF73”.
