The 80Spec Grazing Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory has a fixed 80° degree angle of incidence, a gold-coated alignment mirror, dual polarizer mount, and a base plate that fits all FTIR spectrometers. Three Sample Mask ( 2, 5/8, and 3/8 inch) are also available, but not included with this accessory.

The 80Spec accessory specializes in the specular reflectance measurements of thin films and mono-molecular layers. Samples are laid face down across the top of the accessory and the spectrum of the film is measured. This accessory is compatible with Spectrum One/100/400/65, Spectrum Two, and Spectrum 3/Frontier spectrometers.
