AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human Total JAK1 Detection Kit, 500 Assay Points

JAK1 (Janus kinase 1) belongs to the family of non-receptor Janus tyrosine kinases which include JAK2, JAK3, and TYK2. Numerous cytokines and growth factors, such as IL-6, IL-4, IFN-α, GM-CSF, induce the phosphorylation of JAKs. Activated JAK subsequently phosphorylates additional targets, including both cytokine receptors and major substrates, STATs. The JAK/STAT signaling pathway stimulates cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis. Alterations to JAK/STAT signaling reduce cytokine induced pro-inflammatory responses, making it an attractive target for anti-inflammatory therapies.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Total JAK1 Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total JAK1 in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
