AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human and Mouse Phospho-SQSTM1 p62 (Ser403) Detection Kit, 100 Assay Points

Sequestome-1, also known as ubiquitin binding protein p62 or SQSTM1 p62, is an autophagosome cargo protein that directs selective autophagy toward proteins that bind to it. SQSTM1 p62 is an adaptor protein that can attach to cargo proteins that have been ubiquitinated because it has a higher affinity for ubiquitin chains post-phosphorylation. After lysosomal fusion, the contents of phagosomes are eliminated, removing ubiquitinated proteins or mitochondria associated with SQSTM1 p62 proteins. Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, NASH, and many cancers are all linked to SQSTM1 p62.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Human and Mouse Phospho-SQSTM1 p62 (Ser403) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-SQSTM1 p62 (Ser403) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
