DELFIA^® Xpress PlGF 1-2-3 Kit

DELFIA^® Xpress PlGF 1-2-3 kit is intended for the quantitative determination of Placental Growth Factor (PlGF) in maternal serum using the automated 6000 DELFIA Xpress random access immunoanalyzer. The kit is intended to be used by trained laboratory personnel.

The kit is used:

• as an aid in screening of pre-eclampsia in all trimesters of pregnancy.
• as an aid in diagnosis of pre-eclampsia and short-term prediction of suspected pre-eclampsia together with other biochemical and clinical information in second and third trimester of pregnancy.
• for screening for risk of Down’s syndrome in the first trimester of pregnancy.

The kit may be used together with DELFIA Xpress sFlt-1 kit when calculating a ratio of sFlt-1/PlGF as an aid in diagnosis of pre-eclampsia and short-term prediction of suspected pre-eclampsia together with other biochemical and clinical information in second and third trimester of pregnancy.
