SuperFlex^™ Myoglobin Kit

Myoglobin is an important biomarker for early detection and exclusion of cardiac damage, due to its rapid kinetics. It can be detected in the first 30 minutes after the onset of an Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). [1]

Using the SuperFlex^™ Myoglobin Assay automated on the SuperFlex^™ Automated Chemiluminescence Analyzer results can be obtained in only 6 minutes, delivering results as quickly as rapid tests.

Performance Characteristics Linear range: Within the range of (1.0 to 3000) ng/mL, the linear correlation coefficient |r|≥0.990. LOD≤1.0ng/mL

Clinical Values of Myoglobin assays

• Good Indicator of Negative rule out: It is a sensitive marker for AMI but has low specificity to cardiac muscle. So negative values are more important compared to positive values, to rule out any suspicion of AMI patient. [2]
• As the complementary diagnosis solution for AMI: Combine with CK-MB, Troponin, ECG, and clinical findings for the effective diagnosis of AMI.
• Rapid Detection: Myoglobin levels change very rapidly after an acute event,[3] rising and falling earlier than other biomarkers. Storage temperature：2-8℃
